Target Flagship Stores

I was challenged to bring the brand feel from Target's on-air and print advertising to the in-store shopping experience. Our branding influence can be seen at flagship stores in Rockville (MD), White Plains (NY), South Loop Chicago (IL) and West Hollywood (CA) to name a few. I drew sketches based on blueprints for the site and art directed an illustrator to execute the final drawings for approval. The solutions which we developed on these stores were incorporated into a branding style guide which was supplied to the store architecture group.

Chicago South Loop store entrance. Sculptural bullseye relief pattern, sculptural drop ceiling and large format hero brand image. are all touches which we added to the architectural plans.

Downtown Minneapoils store entry. We added a lenticular bullseye pattern over the cafe windows and a largs bullseye in relief hangs on the glass wall. Depending on angle of view, the lenticular bullseyes appear either frosted or transparent. Seasonal brand imagery appears behind over the cartwell.

Redondo Beach Entry

Target City Center Lobby Concept. Our work with the architecture group was so well received that we were asked by the facilities group to concept the waiting areas of the City Center.
